SOCIETY USES COMPUTERS IN:

EDUCATION:
Education is the process of acquiring
knowledge. In traditional method, they use model such as people to learn
something. They also learn from parents, teachers and employers. But, nowadays
many forms of printed material can be used to learn such as book and manuals
for learning tools. Today, educations also use computer to assist with
education. For example, many school use computer to access network of internet.
That society also use computer to connect or share note. They also can attend
class without go to school.

FINANCE:
Many companies use computer to help manage
their finance. For example, They use finance software to check balance of check
books, pay bills and manage investment, That software will include variety of
online services such as we can do online banking without go to bank. The
advantages of that service are we can access financial record everywhere.

HEALTHCARE:
In the
health-care sector, computer technology has produced state-of-the-art equipment
such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines. Unfortunately, the
prohibitive cost of such equipment can sometimes lead to fee-for-service
arrangements whereby patients must pay to use the new, more reliable equipment.
Such fee-for-service practices have been accused of eroding Canada's public
health-care system.
There is
great potential for computer networks to deliver up-to-date research to
health-care practitioners. For a fee, the most recent medical literature can be
retrieved electronically by practitioners in remote areas, fostering continuing
education and improved diagnoses. Teleconferencing equipment can allow
specialists to provide consultations and to guide surgical procedures from a
distance. The promise of such services in health-care will be only as good as
the technology available at both ends; too often remote communities lack the
resources to purchase and maintain state-of-the-art computers.
The
Internet offers numerous sites that provide medical information and advice. In
many respects the dissemination of such information has made people more
knowledgeable about their health and more actively engaged in monitoring their
own symptoms. There is a risk, however, that with the lack of quality control
on the Internet people will place undue trust on poor medical advice instead of
consulting their family doctor.

MANUFACTURING:
Computers are now widely used in product design and
in automation of selected areas in factories. Within the next decade, the use
of computers in the entire spectrum of manufacturing applications, from
computer-aided design to computer-aided manufacturing and robotics, is expected
to be practical and economically justified. Such widespread use of computers on
the factory floor awaits further advances in computer capabilities, the
emergence of systems that are adaptive to the workplace, and the development of
interfaces to link islands of automation and to allow effective user
communications.

GOVERNMENT:
They make use of computer, especially data application
software like, Microsoft Excel, access
they make use of this application software to generate and store the government
document that need to be generated currently, like REVENUE, EXPENSES ACCOUNT and TAX. They make use of computer in
computerizing all this document for easy processing and to communicate with the
other countries.

SCIENCE:
The advent of computers has contributed greatly to
the fields of science. They have allowed for the collection and recording of
vast amounts of data. They allow scientists to store information indefinitely
and review it easily. A pertinent example is the Large Hadron Collider, without
computers and the time-sensitive components involved, it would not be possible
to record the data.

PUBLISHING:
Publishing is the process of making works available
to the public. It include publish the book,magazine,film and many more. The
special software is use by graphic designer in developing the pages that include text, graphic and
photos. Usually they use web allow to complete the work such a music to your
desktop. Then, the publisher make their works available through online.

TRAVEL:
Travel societies also use computer navigation system
to arrive safely. For example buses. They use this system to make sure that all
the safety of passengers is safe. Airplanes also use this system to check the
condition of weather. Nowadays,many travel society us internet to make the
purchasing of ticket is easy. So that,the
customers can buy the tickets at anytime they want. The most important
advantages are the computer can print out the web for the traveler especially
for the pilot. They need this map to make sure the travel is safely.
